
This tutorial is written in PSP 9
This tutorial consists of 3 parts.
The making of the tag, The making of the animation-parts and the making of the animation itself.
I have written this tutorial on request.
.....isn't this fun to make at Easter time? LOL
Needed:
Everything you need like tubes, font and selections are in the zipfile
Place all tubes in a folder of choise
Place the font into your Fonts folder.
Place the Selections in the selection folder of PSP
The filter Toadies - What are you
AnimationshopOpen all tubes, copy them and paste as new images. Close the original tubes
Because the tubes have a watermarklayer and we only need the tubelayer
in AS , we do the above.
PART I
Let's get started
Preparation:Choose 2 colors matching your tube, een light one,
I chose #ACB9D3 :and
a dark color, I chose #262742:1. Open a transparent => size: 350 x 350
2. Set your foreground to gradient with these two colors
and use settings below:
and floodfill your image with this gradient.
3. In your layerpallet: duplicate this layer
4. Image - Mirror
5. Image - Flip - put your blendmode on Overlay and lower the
Opacity of this layer to 78
6. Layers - Merge - Merge Down
7. Open the Yoka-GreenladyMisted-small tube
8. Edit - Copy
9. Edit - Paste - Paste as a new layer en move the tube
to the left upper corner (see screen)
10. Lower the opacity of this tubelayer to 64
11. Open the tube Yoka-Egg-DrippingTutorial-small
12. Image - Mirror
13. Edit - Copy
14. Edit - Paste - Paste as a new layer and move the
tube to the right lower corner:
15. Put the Blendmode on Luminance(old)
16. Layers - Merge - Merge Visible
17. Adjust hue and saturation - use settings below
18. Go back to the mirrored Yoka-Egg-DrippingTutorial-small
tube and with your selectiontool (lasso)
using settings below :
19. you make a selection around the yellow flower:
20. Place your cursor on the edge of the flower.
21. Edit - Copy
22. Edit - Paste - Paste as a new layer on your working area
of 350 x 350 pixels
23. Drag the flower on top of the other one ( the blue one)
and put the blendmode on
OVERLAY and lower the opacity to 36
24. Image - Add Borders - symmetrical checked - 2 pixels - color :
darkblue(#262742)
25. Image - Add Borders - symmetrical checked - 80 pixels - color:
a light color
26. Image - Add Borders - symmetrical checked - 2 pixels - color :
darkblue(#262742)
27. With your magic wand using settings below;
you select the 80 pixels- border
28. Set your foreground to gradient: foregroundcolor a dark
color matching your image, i chose #262742
and your background a light color matching your image, i chose; #97b5ee
29. Floodfill the border with this gradient
30. KEEP SELECTED
31. Effects - TextureEffects- Weave with following settings:
32. Effects - Toadies - What are you - with following settings:
33. Repeat this step
34. Effects - Image effects - Erode
35. Effects - Image effects - Enhance
36. Selection - Select Nothing
37. Image - Add Borders - 1 pixel - symmetrical checked - color: lightblue,
I chose; #91abd8
38. Image - Add Borders - 1 pixel - symmetrical checked - color: darkblue,
I chose; #1F222D
39. Image - Add Borders - 1 pixel - symmetrical checked - color: lightblue,
I chose; #91abd8
40. Layers - New Rasterlayer
41. Go back to the tube Yoka-Egg-DrippingTutorial-small and
dé-select
42. Image - Mirror
43. Edit - Copy
44. Selections - Load selection - Load: Yoka-sel-EGG
45. Edit - Paste - Paste into selection (see screen)
46. In your layerpallet; duplicate this tubelayer
47. Save this image in a folder of choise as JPG file, name it egg1.
PART II
Preparation:
Open the tube Yoka-Yellow-drop
1. Go back to your JPG and merge layers
2. Selections - Load selection - Load from disk and load Yoka-sel-Yellow-drop,
Use settings below;
3. Selections - Modify -Expand : 2 pixels
4. Set your foreground to a dark color matching your image,
with your dropperyou pick
the color next to the yellow drop. I picked: #262524
5. Floodfill the selection with this color.
6. Selections - Select Nothing
7. Layers - New Rasterlayer
8. Selections - Load selection - Load from disk
( same settings) and load Yoka-sel-Yellow-drop1
9. Go to the Yoka-Yellow-drop tube, then Edit - Copy
10. Edit - Paste - Paste into selection
11. Selections - Select Nothing
12. Save it as a JPG in a folder of choise and name it egg2
13. In your layerpallet you close this layer (the first drop) :
14. Layers - New Rasterlayer
15. Selections - Load selection - Load from disk(same settings)
and load; Yoka-sel-Yellow-drop2
16. Paste - Paste into selection(the Yoka- Yellow-drop tube is still in cache)
17. Selections - Select Nothing
18. Save it as a JPG in a folder of choise and name it egg3
19. In your layerpallet you close this layer
20. Layers - New Rasterlayer
21. Selections - Load selection - Load from disk (same settings)
and load; Yoka-sel-Yellow-drop3
22. Paste - Paste into selection (the Yoka- Yellow-drop tube is still in cache)
23. Effects -3DEffects - Dropshadow with following settings :
24. Selections - Select Nothing
25. Save it as a JPG in a folder of choise and name it egg4
26. In your layerpallet you close this layer
27. Layers - New Rasterlayer

50. Open the Yoka-YellowPuddle tube
51. Edit - Copy
52. Edit - Paste - paste into selection
53. Selections - Select Nothing
54. Layers - New Rasterlayer
55. Selections - Load selection - Load from disk (same settings)
and load; Yoka-sel-Yellow-drop7
56. Edit - Copy ( the Yoka-Yellow-droptube)
57. Edit - Paste - paste into selection
58. Effects -3DEffects - Dropshadow with following settings :
59. Selections - Select Nothing
60. Save it as a JPG in a folder of choise and name it egg8
61. In your layerpallet you close these two layers
( with the half droptube and the puddletube) 60
62. Layers - New Rasterlayer
63. Selections - Load selection - Load from disk
(same settings) and load; Yoka-sel-YellowPuddle2
64. Open the Yoka-YellowPuddle1 tube
65. Edit - Copy
66. Edit - Paste - paste into selection
67. Selections - Select Nothing
68. Save it as a JPG in a folder of choise and name it egg 9
69. In your layerpallet you close this layer
70. Layers - New Rasterlayer
71. Selections - Load selection - Load from disk
(same settings) and load; Yoka-sel-YellowPuddle3
72. Open the Yoka-YellowPuddle2 tube
73. Edit - Copy
74. Edit - Paste - paste into selection
75. Selections - Select Nothing
76. Save it as a JPG in a folder of choise and name it egg 1077. Open a new transparent: 350 x 100 pixels
78. Set your foreground to a light color matching your tube,
I chose yellow: #f5e617
79. Your foregroundcolor is NIL
80. Open the font Inheritance and using settings below
81. you write your name ( I used Capitals)
82. In your layerpallet you convert your vectorlayer into a rasterlayer
83. Effects - 3DEffects - Dropshadow with following settings :
84. File - Save as a PSP file in a folder of choise.(You will need it
later on to put it on to your animation)
Time for some dripping action...so....Open Animationshop
PART III
1. File - Animation Wizard
2. Next - Next- Next - Next - Add Image
3. Go to the folder where you saved your images and select egg1 till egg 10
4. Next - Finished
5. if you click on the View Animation- icon:![]()
You can check out the animation
6. Edit - Select All
7. Animation - Cull Animation: Fill in: 7
8. Repeat this step and fill in: 5
9. Repeat this step and fill in: 3
10. Edit - Select All
11. Animation - Frame Properties; fill in;7
12. Click on frame 5 to select it
13. Animation - Frame properties; fill in: 17 ( We do this so the
drop will fall more beautifully into the water)
14. Click on frame 6 to select it
15. Animation - Frame Properties, fill in 26
16. Edit - Select ALL
17. Open your name, the one you saved in step 84part II
18. Click on the nameframe to select it
19. Edit - Select All
20. Edit Propagate Paste - and with your mousebutton you drag your name on
the tag. Only let go of the mousebutton when your name is in it's propper place
If you want to, you can resize your work
21. Animation - Resize animation;
22. Edit - Save as and save it in a folder of choiseSo...This was a lot of work but now you're done.....
